Another popular choice but it’s a huge hit. It’s one you can sing along to easily, it’s a very well known Bollywood track and it sums up the moment. Infact you can almost imagine yourself in a Bolly film whilst dancing to it!

9. Roshan Prince - Surkh Gulabi
I’m a huge fan of this man and his work. But this ones a proper lovey dovey tune!! “The more I look at you, the prettier you get” - why wouldn’t you want your man to sing this to you hey? It’s perfect!

8. Samjhaawan - Arijit Singh
I have no words for this one. The song does the talking. Again, this was another one of my personal choices. If you’re a senti kind of person like me - you’ll appreciate this one.

I heard this in a film and ever since, i fell in love. “I can’t live without you”. Again, the music, the tone and the words are so nice for a first dance. It’s the perfect way to express yourself. And it’s an easy one to dance to!!! No hard moves involved lol.

This man is beyond a legend. We all love him! But this song just makes me think of me and my partner - in a room, on a dancefloor, just dancing the night away. It’s one you can sway to! But again, beautifully written.

Its all about the melody on this one! Beautiful vocals and words. It’s all about giving yourself to the other. “I’m yours now”. The meaning is so sweet and it’s something i’d want my partner to sing to me everyday lol!!

4. Manni Sandhu ft Akhil - Gaani
It’s been rinsed a lot for first dances, but no doubt it’s a banger!!! I was contemplating this one for my own, but at the time it was the most popular track going and didn’t want it to be the same! But regardless, it’s one of my faves!!

3. Jinne Saah - Ninja
I’m a huge fan of senti panjabi tracks. “the amount of breaths God has given me, I want to spend them with you” - I mean it couldn’t be more perfect! What a way to start a new chapter hey?

I know every word to this track which is mainly why I love it (lol) but lyrically I think it’s beautiful. “If I got you, i’d leave everything else behind”. Love it!!

1. Kumar Sanu - Tera Mera Pyaar
one of my all time favourite tracks. I’ve been in love with it since I was in college and i just think it has the most beautiful sound! I also had this as a part of my first dance.
